Description
Description
The Toddington has a story woven into its design. Created by Anna for her own home, it takes its name from the historic Cotswold steam train station where the legs for the original piece were first hand turned. With its graceful silhouette and open, furniture like feel, it has a charm that makes it rather special within our oak collection.
Its defining feature is undoubtedly the four solid oak hand turned legs, which give The Toddington a wonderfully traditional character without making it feel overly formal. Between them sits an oak veneered grooved shelf, providing a lovely open space for baskets, folded towels or a few carefully chosen pieces. Oak veneer is also used for the larger side panels, providing greater stability and longevity in a bathroom environment.
Above, a solid oak dovetailed drawer provides useful concealed storage and runs on premium concealed soft close runners. Made using sustainably sourced oak, the combination of traditional joinery, turned timber and natural grain gives each Toddington its own individual character.
Choose a counter top basin and the drawer remains fully functional, giving you easily accessible storage for everyday essentials. If an undermounted basin is selected, the drawer front becomes false to provide the necessary space for the basin and associated pipework.
Before leaving our Worcestershire workshops, every Toddington is protected with two coats of exterior grade lacquer, creating a durable, low maintenance finish designed to withstand everyday bathroom life while allowing the beauty of the oak to remain centre stage.
Personalise yours with a choice of oak finish, counter top, upstand, basin and cabinet hardware to create your own interpretation of Anna's original design.
Designed for Anna's own home, with legs first turned in the Cotswolds ~ The Toddington is a vanity with a little piece of Holly Oak House history behind it.
