Our Brand

Holly Oak House is a British maker of beautifully considered bespoke cabinetry and interiors, designed and handcrafted from our workshops on the Worcestershire ~ Cotswold border. Rooted in traditional cabinetmaking but with a relaxed, contemporary outlook, we create furniture and spaces that feel timeless, individual and made to belong.

Rooted in traditional cabinetmaking but with a relaxed, contemporary outlook.

We create furniture and spaces that feel timeless, individual and made to belong.

We have a genuine love of natural materials, beautiful proportions and the small details that make a piece of furniture feel special. From carefully selected oak and solid timber to hand painted finishes, natural stone and exceptional hardware, every element is chosen not simply for how it looks today, but for how it will live and age within a home. Our work is refined rather than showy ~ designed to have character, warmth and a sense of permanence.

At the heart of Holly Oak House is our belief that bespoke should mean freedom of choice. We don't believe in restricting clients to a prescribed collection of colours, finishes or configurations. Instead, we take our core designs and adapt them around the individual ~ whether that's a particular paint colour, an unusual proportion, a favourite piece of stone or an entirely bespoke kitchen created for a unique space.

Holly Oak House

Thoughtfully crafted for everyday living

Perhaps most importantly, we remain closely connected to everything we make. Our cabinetry is designed, built and finished in house by our own team in Worcestershire, and our bespoke kitchens are installed by our in-house team too. From the first conversation to the final adjustment, there is a continuity and accountability to the process that is increasingly rare.

The result is furniture made for real homes and real life ~ cabinetry to be touched, used and enjoyed every day. We want our pieces to feel as though they have always belonged: quietly distinctive, beautifully made and created to endure.

Our Core Values

Craftsmanship. Always

We believe there is still enormous value in making things properly. From traditional cabinetmaking and hand-turned details to meticulous finishing and installation, craftsmanship sits at the heart of Holly Oak House.

Our cabinetry is designed, made and finished by skilled hands in our Worcestershire workshops, combining traditional techniques with modern precision and an attention to detail that can only come from genuinely caring about what we create.

For us, craftsmanship is about far more than what you see on the surface. It's the thoughtful construction, carefully considered proportions and details both seen and unseen that make a piece feel truly special. We take pride in every stage of the process, creating cabinetry that we're genuinely proud to put our name to.

Made to Endure

We don't believe in throwaway furniture. We create cabinetry to be lived with, loved and enjoyed for many years to come, combining timeless design with robust construction and finishes chosen for their durability.

For us, longevity is an important part of responsible furniture making. The longer a piece remains in use, the less frequently it needs to be replaced, helping to reduce the demand for new materials and keeping perfectly serviceable furniture out of landfill.

We deliberately favour timeless design over trends and construct our cabinetry so that it can be cared for, maintained and repaired where appropriate, rather than simply replaced. Our hope is that the furniture we make today becomes part of the fabric of a home.

Thoughtfully Sustainable

For us, sustainability is about making considered choices at every stage. We work with FSC® compliant materials wherever possible and make each piece to order, helping to minimise unnecessary production and waste.

For every vanity unit we sell, we fund the planting of a tree through Ecologi, alongside contributing towards verified climate projects that reduce or avoid carbon emissions. Sustainability for us isn't about one grand gesture; it's about continually making better choices.

Our Worcestershire workshops use renewable electricity, and wherever possible we consolidate the shipping of materials and deliveries to reduce unnecessary journeys and associated emissions. We also work to minimise waste throughout our workshops and use recyclable packaging wherever possible.

Investment in People

Traditional skills only have a future if we continue to teach them. Our apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to learn their craft alongside experienced cabinetmakers, developing their practical skills and confidence.

Working alongside our established team gives our apprentices the opportunity to experience every stage of the making process, learning not only traditional cabinetmaking techniques but also patience, precision and pride.

We're incredibly proud to invest in young talent and preserve valuable British cabinetmaking skills for the future, passing on knowledge, standards and craftsmanship. For us, building the next generation of makers is every bit as important as building the next piece of furniture.
