*Our estimated vanity unit lead times are outlined here, please note this is a guide. Do ensure you are comfortable with these plus a little wriggle room in the event things takes a little longer than expected given each item is made to order. We regret there may be times where a vanity unit may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, or whereby we have experienced a high volume of orders in a short space of time. We, therefore, advise that fitters are not booked until all items have arrived and have been checked on site. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any consequential financial compensation for delays experienced. Our Christmas shutdown period runs from the last working day before Christmas to the first working day back in the New Year. Please ensure this period is factored into the estimated lead times given*
Delivery will be arranged with you in advance and will be made as close to your door as possible. We regret that we cannot carry any items upstairs due to our insurance restrictions. Please ensure strong able bodied person is on hand to help our driver off load your cabinetry if required. If your property has restricted access we ask that you notify us using the 'Add a note' functionality below so we can make the necessary provisions. On occasions we may use the pallet network to deliver your order, in which case this would be a kerbside delivery so please make the necessary arrangements. Please click here to learn more about deliveries.

If you are purchasing from outside of the UK, please use code EXPORT20 at the checkout to offset the UK VAT. You will be personally responsible for any import duties and country taxes once your delivery arrives. Your delivery will not leave customs until these have been paid. Please do not use the above code if you are building a property which is exempt from VAT. You will need to claim this back from HMRC after your purchase has been made. You will be invoiced if you incorrectly use this code.

Please inspect all items upon arrival delivery in the unlikely event of any damage occurring during transit or missing or incorrect items, if you do not have time to do this you must sign the delivery note as 'unchecked' and if the packaging is damaged please signed as 'damaged' - any damages must be reported to us the same day by email at hello@holly-oak-house.co.uk in order for us to make a claim against our couriers.

We encourage you to read the detail provided in the 'Vanity Unit Details' pages as it's here you will find a wealth of information regarding the fitting and configuration of our units, especially in respect of the drawers.

Owing to the vast range of taps on the market, we do not pre drill tap holes (unless you have added this bespoke option to your basket) in our counter tops, we leave this in the hands of your trusted fitter. If you have not added this option to your basket, tap holes will not be predrilled, even if you have requested this in your notes. If you have requested this option, please email us the link to your taps so we can ensure we drill them in the correct position.

Taps and wastes are not included as standard with your vanity unit.

If you opt for an under mount basin in your vanity unit, the top drawer front will be false (unless specified differently on the listing) as the basin rather than the drawer will be housed in this space and the second drawer will have a waste cut out to house the pipework.

Equally, if you have purchased a vanity unit with an under mounted basin, please use the 'Add a Note' function below to let us know if you are planning to fit wall mounted or deck mounted taps as this will affect the depth of your vanity unit and where we position the basin cut out in the counter top. If you are undecided, please email us when you have made a decision.

Timber is a natural product and it is perfectly normal for splits, cracks or movement to occur as it settles into its new home. If your vanity unit is not ready to be installed, it should be stored in a warm safe place to prevent any warping.

Marble is a natural stone and its appearance and veining can vary considerably from the images shown. It is also fragile and porous, therefore, we cannot accept responsibility for any discolouring, stains, scratches, fractures or cracks to the stone that may appear after it has been delivered. We recommend that you seal your marble every 6 months to help prevent staining. Do note it is normal for marble to have imperfections within the surface.

If you've placed an order and would like to contact us, please email at hello@holly-oak-house.co.uk quoting your order number rather than via Instagram as messages here are easily overlooked due to high volumes of correspondence each day. You can also use the live chat function on the website. Do note that once an order has been placed it is not possible to make any changes.
Please visit our 'After Care' guide here to ensure you know how to look after your cabinetry when it arrives.
