Terms of service

1. Acceptance of Order

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

A legally binding contract is formed when we accept your order.

Payment in full is required at the time your order is placed. Manufacture lead times commence once your order has been accepted.

2. Bespoke Manufacture

Every vanity unit is handcrafted specifically for each customer following the combination of sizes, finishes, materials, colours and options selected during the ordering process.

As each item is manufactured specifically to your chosen specification, it cannot be resold in the ordinary course of our business.

Please ensure that all dimensions, finishes and product selections are correct before placing your order.

Additional bespoke requests outside our published options may be accepted at our sole discretion and may be subject to additional charges.

3. Cancellation Rights

Our products are individually manufactured to the customer’s chosen specification.

Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, bespoke goods made to a consumer’s specification or clearly personalised are generally exempt from the statutory 14-day cancellation period.

Accordingly, once we have accepted your order and manufacturing has commenced, orders for bespoke products cannot be cancelled or amended except where required by law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

4. Returns & Refunds

As our products are bespoke and manufactured specifically for each customer, we do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds where a customer changes their mind after manufacture has commenced.

This does not affect your legal rights where goods are faulty, not as described or fail to meet the standards required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Where goods are found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault, we will, at our option and in accordance with your statutory rights:

  • repair the product;

  • replace the affected item or component; or

  • provide another appropriate remedy where required by law.

5. Lead Times

Lead times published on our website are estimates only and may vary depending upon production demand, supplier lead times, material availability and seasonal workloads.

Whilst we make every reasonable effort to meet estimated lead times, they are not guaranteed and shall not constitute a contractual delivery date.

6. Delivery

Delivery is included within England and Wales unless otherwise stated.

Additional delivery charges may apply to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Deliveries are made either by our own transport or via our approved pallet distribution network and are provided on a kerbside basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers are responsible for ensuring suitable access for delivery and, where necessary, providing assistance with unloading.

If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access, customer absence or refusal to accept delivery, additional delivery or storage charges may apply.

7. Inspection of Goods

Customers should inspect all goods as soon as reasonably practicable following delivery.

Any visible transit damage should be clearly recorded on the delivery documentation before it is signed.

Any concealed damage or shortages should be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Goods should not be installed where obvious damage or defects are present.

We cannot accept responsibility for additional installation or third-party costs arising where goods with an obvious defect or transit damage have been installed before the issue has been reported to us.

8. Storage Charges

Where completed goods are held at the customer’s request after notification that they are ready for dispatch, storage charges will apply at £20.00 per week, commencing seven days after notification.

9. Natural Materials

Our furniture is handcrafted using natural timber, marble and other naturally occurring materials.

Variations in grain, colour, texture, knots, veining and other natural characteristics are inherent features of these materials and are not defects.

Samples, photographs and website images are intended as a guide only and may not exactly replicate the finished product.

10. Manufacturing Tolerances

Each product is individually handcrafted.

Minor manufacturing tolerances and slight variations consistent with normal furniture manufacturing standards shall not constitute a defect.

11. Installation

Our products are supplied on a supply-only basis.

Installation is the responsibility of the customer or their appointed installer.

Customers should ensure that products have been inspected before installation.

12. Environmental Conditions

Timber is a natural material that responds to changes in humidity and temperature.

Products should be installed in appropriately ventilated environments and protected from prolonged exposure to excessive moisture or water ingress.

We are not responsible for deterioration resulting from leaks, excessive humidity, inadequate ventilation, misuse, neglect or incorrect installation.

13. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including contractor costs, plumber or electrician charges, removal or reinstallation costs, accommodation expenses, loss of profit, loss of earnings or project delays.

Customers are strongly advised not to arrange installers, worktop templating, tilers, decorators or other trades until all goods have been delivered, unpacked and inspected.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including shortages of materials, transport disruption, severe weather, industrial action, supplier delays, fire, flood or governmental action.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No verbal statement or representation shall form part of the contract unless confirmed by us in writing.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
