Description
The Willersley ~ Reeded came about quite simply because our clients asked for it. Based on the much loved Snowshill, we were regularly asked whether we could make the same vanity without the scalloped profile along the base frame. So, naturally, we did and The Willersley ~ Reeded was born.
Named after the Cotswold village of Willersey, close to our Worcestershire workshops, its straighter base gives the vanity a cleaner, more understated silhouette. The reeded oak drawer fronts and side detailing provide plenty of texture and interest, while the simpler framework lends itself beautifully to both traditional and more contemporary bathrooms.
Two solid oak dovetailed drawers provide generous storage, fitted to premium concealed soft close runners. The framework, reeded detailing and drawer boxes are constructed from solid oak, with carefully selected oak veneer used for the larger side and drawer panels to provide greater stability and longevity in a bathroom environment.
The Willersley ~ Reeded is protected in our workshops with two coats of hard wearing exterior grade lacquer giving the timber a robust, low maintenance finish without the need for ongoing oiling or refinishing.
A little detail worth noting ~ our vanity units measuring 700mm wide or less will have one lovely central knob on each drawer, while those 750mm wide and above will have two knobs per drawer. It's a small detail, but one that helps keep everything beautifully balanced and in proportion.
For those who love the texture of reeded oak but prefer a cleaner line, The Willersley ~ Reeded keeps the detail where it matters and the silhouette beautifully simple.
