Introducing The Kemerton ~ a new addition to our vanity collection, named after the pretty Worcestershire village of Kemerton, nestled beneath Bredon Hill. Close to our workshops and surrounded by the beautiful countryside that inspires so much of our work, it felt a natural namesake for a vanity rooted in traditional craftsmanship and timeless English design.
Six drawers, two basins and beautifully simple proportions ~ The Kemerton is a generous double vanity designed to bring exceptional storage and understated elegance to the bathroom. Starting at 1200mm wide, its three generous rows of drawers provide an abundance of practical storage, making it particularly well suited to busy family bathrooms and larger principal suites.
The six beautifully aligned drawer fronts are deliberately simple, with refined moulded detailing adding just enough definition to the cabinetry. A traditional shaped plinth grounds the piece and gives The Kemerton the character and presence of freestanding furniture, while its clean lines allow the craftsmanship and carefully considered proportions to take centre stage.
Each drawer box is made from solid oak using traditional dovetailed joints and fitted to premium concealed soft close runners. The framework is handcrafted from solid maple, with premium moisture resistant MDF used for the larger panels to provide greater stability and longevity in a bathroom environment. Maple's fine, predominantly knot free grain makes it particularly well suited to painted cabinetry, creating the beautifully smooth finish we want from every piece. Choose virtually any colour from any UK paint brand to make The Kemerton entirely your own.
Choose countertop basins and all six drawers remain fully functional, giving you the maximum possible storage. With undermounted basins, the two upper drawer fronts beneath the basins become false to accommodate the basin bowls, while the drawers below remain functional with carefully positioned waste cut outs for the associated pipework.
Complete The Kemerton with your choice of paint colour, countertop, upstand, basins and cabinet hardware to create a vanity beautifully tailored to your bathroom.
Timeless, generous and beautifully understated ~ The Kemerton combines traditional craftsmanship with exceptional storage in a design made to feel at home for years to come.
As one of the newest additions to our collection, this vanity hasn't quite had its moment in front of the camera just yet! In the meantime, we've used carefully created computer generated images to give you a lovely feel for the design and its finer details. And as beautiful as these images are, we think you'll love the real piece even more!
