Description
Introducing The Bredon ~ a new addition to our oak vanity collection, bringing together some of our most loved design details in a beautifully practical single basin vanity. Taking its name from Bredon Hill, the landscape that sits so prominently above the villages surrounding our Worcestershire workshops, it feels a particularly fitting name for a piece that brings together elements from across our collection.
Inspired by the soft curves and furniture like character of The Kingham and The Conderton, The Bredon pairs traditionally turned bun feet with finely reeded detailing and beautifully considered proportions. Behind its distinctive exterior, however, is the practicality of our much-loved Mickleton design ~ combining a generous drawer with a spacious double cupboard below.
The upper drawer features fine vertical reeding, adding texture and depth to the natural oak, while the two framed cupboard doors below feature matching reeded centre panels. Inside, generous cabinet storage provides plenty of room for taller bathroom essentials, making The Bredon a particularly versatile choice where a combination of drawer and cupboard space is preferred.
The drawer box is made from solid oak using traditional dovetailed joints and fitted to premium concealed soft close runners, while the cupboard provides generous internal storage and shelving. Crafted from sustainably sourced oak, the cabinetry is finished in-house with two protective coats of exterior grade lacquer, helping to protect the timber while allowing the natural grain and individual character of the oak to remain beautifully visible.
Choose a countertop basin and the upper drawer remains fully functional, giving you the greatest possible storage. With an undermounted basin, the drawer front becomes false to accommodate the basin bowl, while the generous cupboard below provides space for the associated waste and pipework.
Complete The Bredon with your choice of oak finish, countertop, upstand, basin and cabinet hardware, creating a vanity tailored beautifully to your bathroom. Characterful, practical and rooted in the landscape around us ~ The Bredon combines elegant curves, tactile reeded detailing and generous cupboard storage in a timeless piece of handcrafted furniture.
As one of the newest additions to our collection, this vanity hasn't quite had its moment in front of the camera just yet! In the meantime, we've used carefully created computer generated images to give you a lovely feel for the design and its finer details. And as beautiful as these images are, we think you'll love the real piece even more!
