The Ablington

The Ablington rather stole our hearts from the moment we made it. Inspired by the bespoke prep table on display in our showroom, this elegant oak vanity brings the relaxed character of a freestanding piece of furniture into the bathroom. Its softer lines and beautifully balanced proportions give it a timeless quality that feels quite different from more traditional bathroom cabinetry.

The real stars of the design are its delicate solid oak legs, hand turned locally to our own specification. Designed especially for Holly Oak House, they give The Ablington its graceful silhouette and reflect the traditional skills and craftsmanship that sit behind the piece.

Carefully made in our Worcestershire workshops using sustainably sourced oak, the legs, framework and drawer fronts are all constructed from solid timber. Two solid oak dovetailed drawers provide practical concealed storage and operate on premium under mounted soft close runners, keeping the mechanics neatly hidden from view.

The Ablington can be paired with either a counter top or under mounted basin. Choose a counter top basin and both drawers remain fully functional; with an under mounted basin, the upper drawer front becomes false to create the necessary space for the basin and pipework, while the lower drawer remains fully usable.

Finished in your choice of oak stain and protected for everyday bathroom life, The Ablington can be further personalised with your choice of countertop, upstand, basin and cabinet hardware.

With its hand turned legs and unmistakably furniture like character, The Ablington feels as though it could just as easily have been found in a beautifully furnished room as designed for a bathroom ~ and that is exactly what we love about it.
