BASINS, TAPS & WASTES

Basins are included with each vanity unit order unless the 'No Basin Required' option is requested.

Taps and wastes are not included as standard due to the vast array available on the market, however the ever popular tall 'Parthian' counter top basin tap is now available for purchase in our shop!

Please scroll down the page to find detailed information.

COUNTER TOP BASINS

The following sized ceramic round basins will be provided if the counter top basin option is selected:

~Circa 320mm diameter for units measuring W500mm & W550mm

- Circa 360mm for units measuring W600mm and larger

- Circa 280mmm for custom units with a bespoke depth of less than 350mm

Our basins do not have an overflow therefore you will require a 1 1/4 inch or 32mm unslotted waste.

Waste connections are not included due to the variety of finishes available on the market.

The standard height of our counter top basin units is W770mm (including quartz) or 780mm (if a solid oak counter top is chosen) with the exception of our Turned Leg vanity units which measure 820mm (including quartz) or 830mm if a solid oak counter top is chosen.

UNDERMOUNT BASINS

Our standard under mounted basins are oval shaped, made from white ceramic and come in three different sizes; small, medium and large. The size of the basin will be determined by the size of the unit.

Rectangular basins are available to purchase in our online shop here and further details on these can be found in the product listing.

~ any double basin vanity unit W1700mm or wider.

Our vanity units housing larger basins and built to suit deck mounted taps are D550mm.

And with wall mounted taps the depth reduces to D500mm accordingly.

Please ensure you 'Add a Note' at the checkout to let us know if you are opting for deck mounted or wall mounted taps so we know how deep to build your vanity unit.  If you don't yet know, please email us as soon as you do.

The standard height of our under mount basin units is W870mm (including quartz) or 880mm (if a solid oak counter top is chosen).

Our under mounted basins feature a built in overflow, we would recommend that this is placed at the front of unit so it isn't visible. You will need to purchase a 1 1/4 inch or 32mm slotted waste.

Basin connections are not included due to the variety of finishes available on the market.

TAP HOLES

Predrilled tap holes are not a standard option on our vanity units as their position varies considerably dependant on the taps chosen, not one hole fits all! You can either asked your trusted fitter to drill your taps holes, or purchase the 'Predrilled Tap Hole' option from our shop.

If you purchase the predrilled tap hole option, please send us the link to your taps via email so we can review the dimensions and ensure the holes are in the correct position. If your fitter is happy to drill the tap holes, they will require a sharp diamond tool bit fitted to a hand drill (these can be purchased from a plumber's merchants or alike for less than £20) .

The stone will need to be fully supported on a flat surface, so not overhanging the end of a trestle for example. Pressure should be applied very gently and the area should be kept cool with cold water (hose pipe is best). If the above steps are missed there is a chance your stone may fracture or even crack.

We regret we unable to accept responsibility for any damaged stone once it has arrived safely in your care.
